Kids say the funniest things!

They have been little troopers about the move. The first time we visited the house we weren’t sure it was totally safe for the kids to be running through the house after us. So I asked them to sit and wait downstairs in the kitchen until we returned. They did and it was a smart call. (The floor upstairs in the study needs replacing badly.) A week later, we took some family with us to see the house for their first time. We were driving down the road on route when we heard Lula in the back seat telling her cousin, “You go down this road until you get to the house that is broken. That’s our new house!!”

She said it so sweetly too, with honesty (well it is a little broken) and pride.

  1. Umm, yes do you have any tips on making new friends and leaving the old ones behind? Or do you have anything for remedying a shattered heart from leaving years of companionship, first times, ups and downs, and pleasant memories by the way side.

    • DBNO,

We will never leave you behind…you couldn’t get rid of us if you tried! We could never make a better friend than you have been. Hopefully this remedies your “shattered heart”. Mi casa, su casa. :)

      Sincerely Yours,
      The New Homeowners
